Translate to: Have a good and sweet year
And we eat an apple with honey 🍯 to sweeten the year among many other things that we do.

Happy New Year, may this year be calm and sweet, like honey.

A taste of Ladakh.

Returning after so many years was an amazing experience, meeting the beautiful people of Ladakh, being able to photograph the vast landscapes, eating delicious food, and so much more.

Huge thanks to @morup_namgail for setting us up with a great itinerary.. appreciate all your help brother.

Another huge thanks to the crew @indusrivercamp for such amazing hospitality, delicious food, and evenings by the fire.. a must stay while visiting Ladakh during the summer season.

@itz_me_choton12 and the people of garkone for sharing your beautiful culture with us ❤️

The most beautiful family @chohouse.tirido for the warm hospitality and delicious food, fresh made Ladakhi dishes straight from the garden to the plate, all home grown and cooked.. I already miss Tashi and her beautiful smile.

@achukheshuk waking up in odd hours to make sure we get to the right place at the right time.. thank you.

Ladakh left a taste for more, much more.. expect to see us again :)

A look into an Angami tribe kitchen and home
The Nagas are known for their open fire kitchen. There are no chimneys.. above the fireplace, you will find what they call the surprise basket, hand woven filled with some goodies: very spicy (king chili) ghost pepper, some dry meet and corn.

The fourth image is of wild mountain bees.
